A couple of years ago I took a BMW i3 on an overnight test drive. I took it about 70 miles on I-90 to spend the night at my sister's house and according to the dashboard I had something like 10 miles of power left when I arrived.good thing there were no traffic jams. After being plugged in,overnight,for 12 hours I had just enough power to get it back to the dealership the next morning.
"Disappointing" doesn't even *begin* to describe the experience.

EV’s are only good for short trips. They can make a nice second car for urban dwellers, but that’s about it.
