What attempted assassination? All the reports I’ve seen so far is that they arrested some fool with a gun near the residence of justice Kavanaugh.
Now they’re reporting it was an attempted assassination? Is this another developing story? Or did the news media simply fail to report the facts from the very beginning?

The guy had firearms and burglary tools, AND SAID he was intending to kill Kavanaugh, being in close proximity to Justice Kavanaugh's home in the dark of night early in the morning. Those things together are pretty solid probable cause.

I think the guy had said it was his intent. So, that can certainly be construed as an attempt that was thwarted.
