I believe the information is incorrect. My team has already played in Canada this year and the non-vaxxing players are temporarily suspended *with pay* and allowed to rejoin the team as soon as the team leaves Canada. Teams are allowed to substitute a player while the regular one is suspended, just like paternity leave. I think the MLBPA would have a fit if the players lost pay simply for not submitting to a vaccine.

If the Twins and other teams had any decency (and guts) they would tell all Canadian teams they would not travel to them because of their country’s anti body autonomy laws.
