They low-balled her because they didn’t have the courage to fire her. Now they are stuck with the salary and the low ratings.

Do not have the time to watch her, or anything like her. Nice to see her taking a haircut.

She’s one of the big reasons I had to stop watching cbs news. Her overly dramatic, hyperboluc delivery wore me out.

Didn’t even know who she is. I’ve heard the name and that’s it.

She did that math too. She’s a protected class so essentially firing-proof, just do the job and cash the checks.

They’re morons. She has 3.8 million reasons not to be offended by their “low-ball” offer.

I'm hoping there is chance that some of these liberal socialist companies go broke...and are bought up by Elon Musk!!!

I would have sworn “Norah O’Donnell” was a member of the SNL cast. One of the (few) drawbacks of not having a TV . . . You may be thinking of Nora Dunn.
FWIW, I had the exact same thought when I first heard the name "Norah O'Donnell." I had to look it up. There was no member of the SNL cast named O'Donnell.
Rosie O'Donnell was SNL guest host twice, in 1993 and 1996.
Also Roseanne Barr did an impersonation of Rosie O'Donnell on an SNL episode in December 1994.
I was past my SNL-watching days by then, so I missed out on those exciting episodes. What a shame.

Eight million dollars to read a teleprompter? Big media is totally insane.

Paying their anchors such ridiculous salaries it’s no wonder they’re struggling. Nothing special about her job, you could easily replace her with a competent person for $100k. Just need someone who can lie with a straight face.
