We’re end users of most things. A consumer nation, not a producer nation. What do we export? Some food stuff and weapons?

I know a number of folks here at FR are “self sufficient” in a lot of ways, and would be able to provide themselves with food and other necessities should the trucks stop rolling. At 70, it would be a steep learning curve for the wife and I....but it’s been on our minds increasingly.
