what is the saying, “Stupid is as stupid does.”
People that make that much money should be smarter.
My heart bleeds purple piss.
That is because they have a spending problem not a income problem.
If they can take those paychecks and move to lower cost-of-living states, then, they can live like kings and queens. (Exaggeration, I know, but still).
They need Dave Ramsey 🤪
I will likely work until I die. At least I will have the satisfaction of knowing that I am contributing taxes to all the Biden voters.
Good point. That’s still good $ in California, but many other states that puts you at least the Prince, or Lord category.😉
Yup. Credit cards maxed, cars and trucks they thought they had to have but really couldn’t afford. This isn’t to say “everyday expenses” don’t bite you, too, especially these days, but it’s definitely time to watch the spending.

My pensions and SS are less than $100,000 per year.
I own two houses, acreage and a nice ocean view in Hawaii.
I eat pretty good.
What is wrong with these Democrats?
I guess they are as crazy as I think they are.
BS, it is they are too stupid to realize they are spending too much.
If you live up to the maximum potential of your income you will always be in that boat.
It is possible to live comfortably on much less.
Household income — likely two wage earners with an effective combined taxation of 40% leaving $150k. If paying independently for the family’s health insurance, subtract $25k. That leaves $125k. Not exactly wealthy for a family of four in a HCOL state.
Time to downsize or move.
I no longer live paycheck to paycheck. I now live welfare check to welfare check (SS, pension, 401K, IRA). Since I’m retired and no longer have the expense of having to go to work everyday, I have more than enough to get by.
Pfffttt….
I don’t even want to hear their whining.
They get no sympathy from me.
You really wouldn’t have been able to guess my dad’s net worth from the 23-year-old 4-cylinder pickup truck which was the newest vehicle he owned when he passed away.
Think he paid $12k for it.
I also think he paid cash for it.
They sub zero sympathy from me. Hollywood stars, sport figures have earned tens and even hundreds of millions and yet went toes up. It’s not how much you earn, it’s how much you spend.
Each of these $250k earners should read the book, “The Millionaire Next Door”.
