Twitter user @cozyCowpoke captured video of a moose chasing a bear recently at Many Glacier Hotel in Glacier National Park. The bear was believed to have attacked one of the two calves that was with the adult moose.
Video at the source. Sounds like the bear broke a door or window fleeing.

“Antlers in the trees” by Who Goosed the Moose.
Your post reminds me of the time a moose bit my sister. The horrible beast lost all control, and savagely attacked for almost an hour.
On the other hand, the moose was rather well-behaved.
Moose vs Squirrel
Mama Moose? Don’t rile up the mamas of any species especially if you go after one of her children!
Oh moose, spare the bear, it was just behaving naturally!
Moose to human; “Fine, get down here and take its place!”
Very impressive.
That grizzly looked like it has had a bad encounter with a moose before.
It was nearly frantic to get away.
We were at that hotel in late August last year. Stunning vistas across the lake.
Sometimes you find motivation, other times motivation finds you.
Don't say how it ends yet. I have to take a shower.
. Iberals “solution” ... “we need sensible antler and hoof control laws. No moose needs needs more than one hoof or one tine on their antlers. Stop the sensless harassment of bears by a tier and hoof crazy moose!”
A few years ago we were hiking on our favorite trail and came upon 3 bull moose browsing in a meadow. They were within a few feet of the trail so there was no way to avoid them, but we found a way to climb up on some large boulders nearby and watch them for about 20 minutes. They came within about six feet of us and barely paid us any attention. It was awesome to see those magnificent creatures up close. We were so stunned at their presence neither of us thought to take pictures with our phones. Sure wish we had.
THAT was interesting.
I never thought a grizzly would run from anything but that thing was beating feet. I wonder what triggered the moose to attack.
Ooops, just watched the video and didn’t read. Mama Moose.
It’s all fun and games...until a bear runs into a plate glass window.
Moose often have twins. I had three visit my place repeatedly one summer - the problem is that the little mooslings are cute as hell and to a bear, especially this time of year, look edible. This leads to people trying to pet them and bear trying to eat them, both being catastrophically bad ideas since Mama is never far away. My neighbor told me he stopped his young daughter from essaying forth to “pet the ponies” that year. One of them still comes around on occasion - he’s a big boy now and I don’t think any bear in its right mind would do anything but run.
