The path to the 2024 presidential election will be shaped entirely by how things look for Donald Trump in the wake of the 2022 midterms.
Donald Trump has signaled he will announce his presidential intentions after the November midterm elections. Yet his record of endorsements is quite mixed. By the sheer numbers of winning primary candidates his stamp of approval is impressive, but in a few of the most important races, not so much.

I don’t know why Trump would want to go through all of that again.
.
In this time of selected not elected, the winner will be stated as having lost imho
He’s a tough American who knows there’s no more important task. He could care less about the idiots, no matter how many of them there are. He knows he can do it, he knows probably no one else can. Not a hard call for a man like that.
Run Trump. Run. We literally can’t wait.
Once again, I agree with Prof. Hanson, at least 95%.
The one thing he does not take into account is voter
fraud.
I think 2020 proved that Ballot Harvesting, Computer
Vote Counting and Secret Counting Centers can and will deliver the desired results. And, of course, favorable courts.
“All Republican candidates will run on secure borders, energy independence, deregulation, Jacksonian foreign policy, a populist, middle-class, nationalism, and deterrence against China—albeit with much-needed new emphasis on destructive deficit spending.”
But they won’t do it.
If the election had not been criminally interfered with, he would be in office right now.
How come none of these anal-ists ever bring that up? The “play the ball from where it lies” rule isn’t even that popular in golf, where it originated.
Instead of spending an iota of time/effort anal-izing the extremely effed-up election and how we - voters - can avoid getting the shaft again, it’s “*sigh* Here are all the reasons we don’t want Trumpy in office, stated in a nice, sort of milquetoast way this time.”
(from the article) “As for the Democratic landscape, it will not be the case that Joe Biden may choose to run. He will not run because the decision will not be his.
Even if he manages to last another two years in office, Democratic grandees know his cognitive faculties are eroding rapidly. They read polls and know what his non compos mentis optics have done to their party.”
Like, the Democrats haven’t all lost their effing minds and gone full-on communist, you guys! They’re worried about J0e’s declining mental state and what it’s doing to their party. NO THEY’RE NOT.
It’s all about ChoMoeJoe and whether he’s “competent,” NOT the stolen election. The “writer” here is doing the criminal Democrats a favor and taking B1den seriously as a president, and NOT as the malign puppet installed by GLOBAL organized crime.
Why don’t they ever mention that? It’s all political anal-ysis that sounds very prim and proper, and no bad words, and a lot of sighing and hand-wringing, and plugs for GOP who look good on paper - saying they will push Trump’s agenda if he isn’t in office again. NO, THEY WON’T. And like they have a ghost of a chance of winning, when THEY WON’T ACKNOWLEDGE THE ELECTORAL FRAUD.
Lack of acknowledgement of electoral fraud means they are going to play the Democrats’ game and lose like nice “conservatives” are supposed to.
Why aren’t these “conservative” writers the least concerned about Justice...? They’re all like “Here’s how we deal with the Trump aftermath. We know you like Trump and you probably voted for him, but IT’S OVER. HE’S TOAST. How do we move on from here?”
A lot of our congress critters have been in military service. They are used to the concept of an “enemy.” But somehow, strangely - or perhaps not so strangely - they are willing to hand the reins of power to the ENEMY. They’ll b1tch about it - which I suppose gets them elected over and over again - but in the end they play along with it.
This enemy is not going to hand us - voters - back our power any time soon. If you are expecting for freedom just to start trickling back in as a natural process or something, without anyone having to do anything about it, I suggest you read up on communist China and Ru$$ia. (And don’t kid yourself: Ru$$ia is still a collectivist entity, no matter what they say.)
It really seems like a great many conservative writers would rather talk about anything but voter fraud. It’s pretty freaking tragic.
He’s not going to back out. It’s the perennial fantasy for the establishment GOP. “He can’t handle the pressure! He’ll break!” Excuse me while I fall down laughing.
“Some logic might dictate that Trump not try a second campaign. He would be 79. The recent record of doddering septuagenarian and octogenarian politicians—Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Feinstein—has warned Americans that one’s late 70s certainly are not, as the Baby Boomer generation may try to hype, the “new 50s.”
Trump could be 5 days cold in his grave and STILL a better President than any of those clowns ...on their best day!!
For us! And boy howdy, we need him now more than ever.
I am not enamored of this VDH piece………and that surprises me.
I am usually VDH all the way.
Maybe Victor is just weary
And here comes the antiTrump Freepers piling on the ‘anyone but Trump’ bandwagon!
Victor……DO NOT rule out, try to diffuse, marginalize or negate Trump!
Trump has a sharp mind……and he knows what we need!
I will put his future 79 yr old mine against your equivalent any day!
I do not believe that about Pompeo and Cotton, I think they are both globalists.
Bravo
Agree!
Didn't need to read any further. His endorsement record is something like 200-7. No need to read the rest of the article if the author gets something as basic as that completely wrong.
This is why we need a “Like” button on this site. Very good article.
I can only add my biggest complaint about conservatives right now. WHO made the call to stop counting?!? Nobody is trying to find out.
Voter fraud is the biggest and only way the left can take the prize.
