Lol at the kilt sheep 🐑
I love this picture ... and, it’s JUNE already!!??? Thanks for the thread!
Happy World Outlander Day!
If you didn’t already know World Outlander Day falls on June 1 each year as this was the date Diana Gabaldon published her first novel way back in 1991.
The book “Outlander” is probably my all time favorite and the books that followed in the series are good as well. I have seen a few of the made-for-TV series (on STARZ I think) and they did a good job with it.
So Louise of the Handy Little Me website has come up with patterns based on the costumes that were worn in the series ... shawls, arm warmers, fingerless mittens, etc. She has patterns for knitting and some of the patterns are in crochet as well. Her instructions are good - I’ve made a couple of things from her free patterns.
If you’re interested, here’s the website for Handy Little Me - she has an ‘Outlander’ tab where you can find those particular patterns:

I don’t have a new picture to post this month. I am working on a few things:
1. Another quilt, using up all the quilt stuff given to me by a dear sister in Christ whose cancer pain has left her uninterested in quilting any more;
2. Another sewn baby dress using scraps I collect from here and there;
3. My baby sock kits which I work on occasionally at Bible Study or when going somewhere where there is a waiting room;
4. and a one skein baby bolero. Having some fun knitting some ribbon into it.
I hope to have a picture of SOMETHING next month!!
