Here I am, better late than never? (Maybe not!)
I always thought crocheting would be a good skill to have. Never learned it, though.
I bought fabric today! Our granddaughters, 5 and 11 years old, stayed overnight on Saturday. The little one brought PJs, that I had made in 2016 for her older sister. So I KNOW that pattern will fit her right now, and also having some guilt about not sewing much for her.
She has her older sister, then also 2 girl cousins in town here, who are older than she is, so gets LOTS of hand-me-downs. Anyway, I got fabric for at least 2 sets of PJs for her, plus a 4th of July dress with shorts to go under. Actually cut out one of the PJ shirts tonight, and pulled out the pattern for the shorts to go with it.
I am still getting used to being retired and having time to pursue selfish endeavors like this.....
Plus, had some Joann’s gift cards, so it was a FREE shopping trip.
Sounds like a wonderful project ahead!
I retired in 2016 - but moved straight to the FARM, so, so much for, ‘retirement,’ LOL!
It has taken me a while to slow down too, but I’m getting the hang of it. :)
