I think my close blood relatives, our nuclear family, (all but me and my brother took the damn poison) know they were fooled about the shots, but they will never admit it to me.
Recently, over the Memorial Day holiday, a cousin of mine (retired pharmacist since winter 2019) was holding a large 4 day get-together with 22 planned guests, all close relatives of his, who are all vaxxed to the hilt. Well, lo and behold if the event didn’t turn into a super spreader event and get all messed up ( vast amounts of extra not freeze-able food )when his son returned home from his workplace town, bringing The Rona with him. His mom and dad became sick as dogs after a couple days and some people were warned off of even arriving at the party home when the positive test result was known early in the weekend. I wonder how many of the 22 Woke Up? Not many I bet.
I am sure the canned line “It would have been worse without the shots” was used.

None of us wanted our immediate family to take the shots. Most of us warned them but they brushed it off. My daughter is 47 and way past doing what I tell her. Her daughter is 26 and works in the medical field so she has been totally brainwashed. My daughter thinks that because she (the granddaughter) is in the medical field that she knows what she’s talking about. The granddaughter talked my daughter into getting the shots and then my daughter talked my very reluctant son-in-law into getting his. Both of my brothers were forced by their wives even though all of them had already had covid. My baby sister had covid but she works at a pharmacy and was told she had to keep wearing the mask if she wasn’t vaxed. She regrets getting it after I sent her what information I had on it. She said, “Oh my GOD I hope I didn’t do something really stupid”. I never talked to them about it since they had all had covid but I never expected them to get vaxed. All of these people are conservatives (mostly) and support Trump. I know my silly sisters-in-law support Trump but not sure about how conservative they are.
I wish I could have stopped them, but the fact is, you can’t stop grown adults from doing what they think is best for them, even if it isn’t. We all have free choice. It was their choice. None of them tried to guilt us or scare us into taking them.
