If not for excellent trauma care in the few remaining hospital emergency rooms in Chicago, the deaths from gun shot wounds would be much higher.
The team’s work on Aug. 5 was predicated on decades of experience. In 2017 alone, the 50 clinicians in Stroger’s trauma center treated more than 1,100 gunshot wound patients — roughly one-third of the people shot in Chicago that year — a stat that reveals why Stroger’s trauma center is one of the busiest in the nation.
However, the packed Chicago area ER’s today cause the thousands of seriously injured, or having serious medical issues to have to wait, also because of so many illegals and others without insurance filling up the Emergency rooms.
Also, As much as 12 hour or more waits to actually see the few remaining ER doctors left in hospitals is not uncommon.
And the media will talk about this when? I believe just after the story of BIGFOOT riding an UNICORN!! 🤓
They don’t say anything about the victims. Age and gender and a general location. It’s sad that people don’t rate a better description of their final moments on this earth. A 15 year old boy was shot near some shore. A 30 year old man was shot in the head in a front yard. That’s it. No name, no picture, no words about the people whatsoever. In trying not to describe them they dishonor them as a mere numerical happenstance.
Because the Democrat media is racist, and only uses the dead bodies of victims for political purposes.
