That is interesting about your Muslim friend. Reformed Jews are generally non-observant or minimally observant (e.g. Yom Kippur).

Now that you mention it, I knew some students who were probably Muslim in prep school (late '70s early 80's), but it never came up, and there was plenty of pork served. I suspect those Muslims act differently when their numbers get higher, or if they are in their homeland. Just like the Muslim women who change their clothes mid-flight to the U.S.
