Five eyes is illegal and always was. CIA and NSA were prohibited from spying on Americans here at home. So they made a deal with foreigners to spy on Americans and hand them the info pretending that it came from a “foreign” source and they were not to blame.

Interesting. Working alongside my FVEY colleague in the Pentagon, I could have sworn we were doing good work by coordinating the intelligence sharing, the turning over certain assets for joint operations, and the planning of intelligence operations with our partners: So that war plans actually work.

Who else is going to do it? Do we adopt a posture where we don’t share with our allies in the most efficient manner possible?

But screw it. What do I know? Congress allowed the CIA to spy on themselves and didn’t do shiite. It should have been burnt to the ground and placed under military leadership. When Congress doesn’t exercise their proper oversight, why are we surprised sovereignty takes a hit and institutions are turned against us?

This is on the HPSCI and the SSCI. Now take a look at both of those committees. It is a Who’s Who of the most POS legislators in Congress: and that is laid at the feet of the electorate.
