That chart has at least one lie in it.

There are no "72 million gun owners".

Gun owners are not registered in the United States.

There are various estimates of gun ownership. 72 million is on the low end. 150 milion is on the high end.

About half the households in the United States have guns in them.

The correct comparison of guns to cars would be accidents which occur with guns to accidents which occur with cars.
