Great race- Swede Marcus Erickson had a comfortable lead with 6 laps left. Teammate Jimmie Johnson of NASCAR fame has a major accident in turn two (third turn 2 accident today). Red flag comes out at lap 195- five lap sprint to the finish for the Indy 500!!! (Coverage on NBC)
Did he pour a jug of milk over his face as he stood there on the podium? Weirdo...
Definitely not guilty.
LOL- so wouldn’t the traffic and racing 32 other cars effect the speed?? BTW- the cars can only go so fast before the human eye will not be able to process. They could make the cars go 300MPH- of course that would be suicide
Should also add- Dixon won the pole at 234.5MPH.
That’s Cessna 172s. Cessna 195s didn’t either, but you look more cool.
What is the speed of the Cessna? It flies at 188 mph.

Missed it by by about 12 mph!
Yes- they all do
her bod is killer
That’s kinda ... really weird. Champagne I get, but milk?
To clarify.
What is TOP SPEED of a Cessna 172 ? It flies at 188 mph.

Is this the sporting event that sends 15 FBI agents to investigate racism on a garage door loop?
The same FBI that has not sent a single agent to investigate the 2020 election fraud or the Hunter Biden laptop containing child porn. Yeah, that precious body of work, called the Federal Bureau of Investigation (i.e. The Forever Biden Idiots).
A sip of milk is one thing, pouring it all over yourself, is odd. Drinking milk is already weird. But the winners circle moneyshot is really strange.
Milk tradition started in the 1950’s- the winner (can’t think of his name) asked for buttermilk after crossing the line- its been tradition ever since
My private pilot instructor once showed me what happens when you go too fast
in a Cessna 172. (Because he was late for a date with his new girlfriend...)
The wings start to flap.
~Easy
It’s the tradition. Every Indy 500 winner drinks milk. In fact, before the race they pull every driver to find out what kind of milk they want. And every winner pours it over his head.
Now I know to expect some excitement at the end, however.
1936- Louis Meyer
No. That was NASCAR. Can’t you give it a rest for 20 minutes or so?
no- that was NASCAR, not Indy Car
Btw, they have go carts that can reach 140 mph.
No, it really really does not fly at 188 MPH. Not even close. That even exceeds max structural speed, and VNE speed of 182 where it realistically structural failure.
Don’t know where you found that data, but it’s wrong. It is so wrong it doesn’t even worry me because I know it means you don’t fly one and if you decide to you will see. But that’s good... if 172s could go that fast, nobody could afford them! The price would double.
