The crash happened at approximately 10:30 a.m. just north of Thunderbolt Marina.
The Coast Guard reports that two boats were involved. One boat had three people aboard, the second had six people aboard.
According to the Coast Guard, the missing boaters are a 37-year-old white male and two early 20-year-old white males who were last seen wearing board shorts and no shirts.
Chatham Fire, Chatham EMS, Coast Guard, and Marine Patrol are on scene.

Speed is something our boat will never be accused of.
Once while going south near Jacksonville in the ICW, we hit 8mph. It was a wild ride!
Once we turned to go into the dock we were heading for, speed dropped to about 3mph. I touched nothing!

Local to Savannah news has it that the Captain of the boat that didn’t have the family on it was indeed charged with DUI. Folks that knew the guy posted that they aren’t surprised that it was him. More as it comes in.
