CHARLESTON, W.Va. - A woman in West Virginia fatally shot a man who began firing an AR-15-style rifle into a crowd of people that had gathered for a party, authorities said.
Dennis Butler, 37, was killed Wednesday night after he pulled out the rifle and began shooting at dozens of people attending the birthday-graduation party outside an apartment complex in the city of Charleston, police said in a statement.

Has Crump or Sharpton arrived on the scene yet?
She’s a boss.
Let that be a lesson to copycats
She only killed him because he deserved it.
He was firing with an AR15 into a crowd and nobody was injured. How does that happen?
Obviously, he was a Star Wars Droid.
I hope that’s all there is to the story and that she did, indeed do the right thing. BUT, it’s too clean cut. Something’s fishy about this story. Not enough detail. Did the man have a violent history? Does the woman have a violent history?
Drugs...
Post mortum toxicology reports to follow.
She has more balls than the entire Uvalde PD.
Will Oblama invoke Floyd and erect a statue (sarc)
Stormtrooper
Steel basketballs...
She stopped the problem.
Armed citizens save lives.
He, like most people, did not know how to actually hit what he was shooting at.
You fire enough bullets and you will probably hit something but he did not have the time because the lady DID know how to hit what she was shooting at.
Charleston Police Chief Tyke Hunt said Dennis Butler, 37, is a convicted felon and that’s he’s had several run ins with him before.
“As a young police officer, I was a rookie and had about a year on, one of the most knocked-down dragged out fights I had was with Mr. Butler and he had a firearm on him at that time in 2006,”
A third felony was never tried, because witnesses decided not to testify. I'm guessing testifying would have been hazardous to their health...
She was legally armed, and what would it matter what her history was if she keeps a killer from killing?
That wasn't enough evidence for a conviction?
I’m not sure if he was convicted for that incident, but he has 2 felony convictions and the one where witnesses refused to testify. Who knows how many other felonies were bargained down to misdemeanors or not prosecuted. Not to mention the crimes he committed but was not caught. At least he won’t be wasting our tax dollars any more. The lady who shot him should get a medal.
perceived perp,
punctured perfectly
