Opposing DEI
American Thinker ^ | 28 May, 2022 | Henry Kopel

The focus of DEI programs is blame culture and scapegoating -- they harm, rather than help, our efforts to build a culture of equal respect and dignity.

Diversity-Equity-Inclusion (DEI) is now big business in America. A 2021 Heritage Foundation study found that the average American college employs forty-five full-time DEI administrators. At a reported average salary of $81,800, this army of DEI staffers costs the average college $3.68 million annually. Across America’s more than 4,000 colleges, the yearly college DEI bill exceeds $14 billion.

And that figure omits the vast private-sector industry of diversity trainers and equity consultants, as well as the ubiquitous DEI officers that populate virtually all government agencies, plus a wide array of non-profits.

This aggressive expansion of the DEI industry across leading American institutions has proceeded with little opposition until now. Like an invading army in hostile territory, the DEI industry has made the mistake of seeking to extend its reach across America’s K-12 educational sector, and taxpaying parents are standing up, saying: “Not with my children -- the indoctrination stops here!”

The DEI industry’s answer is that such parents are just old-fashioned racists, White supremacists who seek to suppress discussion of America’s history of slavery, Jim Crow, and continued “systemic racism” today.

An entire academic industry supports this false view. An alphabet soup of university “studies” departments -- Black Studies, Chicano Studies, Gay Studies, Gender Studies, Whiteness Studies, Women’s Studies -- supported by ever-expanding diversity bureaucracies, promote the view that America denies that it remains a deeply racist, sexist, homophobic, and transphobic country.

If you ever wondered how German society could collectively lose its mind and follow an evil ideology, then just watch what is happening with the totally crazy wokeism and DIE concepts here.

Conservatives should ALWAYS call it DIE, not DEI.

Why defer to cultural Marxist Commie Rats?

“If you ever wondered how German society could collectively lose its mind and follow an evil ideology ...”

We just got an object lesson in the ease of brainwashing and gaslighting millions of people, causing people to turn on and hate each other and causing real harm to people and businesses, during the COVID years. Remember all the vitriol and wishes for suffering and death heaped upon people who did not want the COVID shots?

IMO, this all started with America’s blind acceptance of “politically correct” speech back in the 90s.
Yeah, I know about the civil rights act of 1964 and Nixon’s push for AA and the EEOC, but once we let the left frame the language, we were cooked

Interesting you call it a religion, as the letters DEI means “of god” in Latin.

Forcing D.I.E. onto Americans gives aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States. D.I.E. is antiChristian and treason.

One of the key characteristics of the DIE agenda is INCLUSION. You cannot have the inclusion without exclusion. In the religious fervor of the movement they demand all peoples include, celebrate and promote their defined world of what is correct. Take the LGBTQP+ people. We have learned with 100% certainty that the transgender doctrine is demanding that young women aspiring to move forward in sports must now be excluded because a male with a penis and testicles wants to be called a woman and needs to be advanced in the agenda. If a girl objects to this inclusion she will conveniently be labeled a bigot. Same with pedophiles now. If your religious beliefs determine that a middle aged person who wants to have sex with a 10 year old is “evil” you are not being inclusive! You must be punished for not “celebrating” perversity - ooops - I mean diversity!

Bottom line is that you cannot have inclusion without exclusion! The question to ask in these forums, when given a chance to debate, is “who’s belief system is superior?” In other words we will exclude this group of people because their belief system does not align with our agenda. Why? Why are we excluding this group of people by stating that their belief system is inferior and not inclusive? Why are we promoting another group stating that their beliefs are superior?

If the DEI group was successful they would all become unemployed and no longer get richly paid.

Therefore, the obvious outcome is that DEI will never be satisfied. No matter what is done new injustices, racism, and outrage will always be found.

In Florida we fight the commie haters infiltrating schools. Other states need to do the same.

I refer to these idiots as the “Diversity - Inclusion - Equity” crowd.

Because we certainly will DIE if we allow these idiots have their way with us!
