Let me give you the bottom line up front–Ukraine’s military units in the Donbass in the area of Lysychansk are now essentially encircled, which means Ukraine is facing the loss of at least 15,000 troops unless they are able to retreat.
Some pundits refer to this as Deep Operational Encirclement:

Since this is a narrow front that is completely within artillery range of both sides, casualties on both sides must be very heavy.
The Ukrainins may be forced to give up Lysychansk and Severodonetsk, but if they do most forces will be withdrawn first.

Interesting, Turkey is opposing Finland and Sweden’s NATO entrance due to high amount of Islamic terrorists they harbor. Secondly, Turkey does not support Vegetable Head Joes sanctions.
On that note, NATO members must approve 100 percent a country’s admission to NATO, three maybe four NATO countries have voted to NOT admit them, however, NATO has said they will change the rules…imagine that.
Revolt by Turkey could conceivably sink NATO’s ambitions ( and the western alliance) dreams of cornering and punishing Russia.

The little beggar Zelensky supposedly is the only one authorized retreat, overriding his top Ukie General , who by the way ( according to non western intelligence) has prepared retreat orders but the spat is not yet played out.
