To: Recovering_Democrat

My wife told me a while ago. The first movie I remember seeing him in was
“Field of Dreams”, as Shoeless Joe Jackson. I thought he was brilliant in that movie, his piercing stare is what I remember most.
And of course, “Goodfellas”. A little too violent, but a great ensemble with Liotta, Pesci, and DiNero. Joe Pesci’s character was crazy, and he did a great job.
RIP, tough guy…

Between Good Fellas and Casino, he was so good I wasn’t always sure he was acting. Yeah, a real psycho. Great acting.
