That scene always bothered me because there’s a 747 shown flying overhead, which did not fly till 1970 and this was supposed to be in the early 60’s.Also, the caption at the beginning of this scene says it's 1962, but Liotta is leaning against a 1965 Chevy.

Picky picky. You’d be hard pressed to find a single Hollywood movie that isn’t loaded with such inaccuracies. Being accurate isn’t part of Hollywood’s schtick.
