Seems a big waste of time energy and resources to come all this way to do analprobes, slice and dice cows, and buzzbomb Navy flyboys.
Any race of beings that has the technology to make the trip across light years of space would be so far advanced from us that what happened to the native Americans when the much more technically advanced Europeans arrived would look more like what happens when humans deal with lower primates or worse.

Former DOD folks who expound on this matter have been dismissing the idea that these beings (whatever they are) have traveled across the vastness of space.
There's even been a lot of talk that they've been here (on earth, in our reality) all along.
If there are ET visitors, its more comparable to us visiting a zoo.
