I admit to being a Fatist. Poor people that starve are not fat. Fat people that are poor are more fat than poor.
I have gone from 30% BMI, obese, to very physically fit many times. Each time that I get fat it is because I quit exercising and eat a bit too much. For at least 95% of the fatties, myself included at times, it is a lifestyle-induced pathology and making excuses for it does not help anyone. I make no apologies. In fact my BMI is a still too high, roughly 20%, but it is falling since I bailed on my IT career.
