Yes, it really should not be that you can pick your party on election day, and vote in either party’s primary. I can’t understand why it’s not fixed already! Don’t most states lock you in with your party registration?

And I’ve got to say, glad it’s over. They have been blowing up my phone for weeks.

The same thing happens even in closed primary states.
A voter can change parties and vote in the other primary.
I happen to like Georgia’s approach.

In TN primaries we are asked as we go in Which party we want to vote for D or R so we get all that party’s ballots ...
