I feel like this is the GOP establishment trying to protect their slice of the voter fraud pie... not sure but it feels dirty and PA is the dirtiest of the dirty when it come s voter fraud.

So can Texas! We have a long in person early voting period, but still maintained very strict limits on absentee voting (by mail). Most of our results are in by 10pm.
This is ridiculous. They haven’t even figured out who won a Republican Primary yet. The GOP leadership does nothing over these election messes.

I don't really care either, but if they both suck, I want the one who is going to fight to every last bit of legitimate authority to win, not the one who is going to graciously lose because of decorum or some stupid antiquated idea of fair play.
PA (and other states) were lost in 2020 because the pubbies didn't contest every questionable administrative or judicial decision and didn't fight when it mattered.
In 2023, when PA has a chance to reset their wicked state supreme court, maybe we can start playing by the rules again, but failure in 2022 will make any sort of success in 202 so much harder. Until then, everything should be treated as a street fight.

The pubbies were still in a do-nothing daze last fall following the recent lifting of the nationwide multi-decade consent decree that had unilaterally hobbled their election day poll monitoring efforts by the pachyderm party against the donkey party. Their electoral game absolutely needs to be better this year (up to and including the nationwide election this fall), and needs to be fully up to speed with tens of thousands if highly paid attorneys and well-trained poll watchers galore in Philly and similar places of regular electoral “irregularities” (or whatever word is currently being used to make stealing elections sound cute) by the time of the fall 2024 election season, or this country will be in need of a snotty, brawl-loving third party.

Most nations modernize their voting. They go from hand written ballots to computer ballots to electronic voting.
Only the US goes backward to use snail mail for voting after decades of not having it.
It is an embarrassment, but we all know why....easier to cheat.
Vote by mail must be eliminated 100% nationwide.
I’m not a big fan of Dr. Oz. We can at least hope though that he will be friendly to Trump since he owes his political career to Trump. McCormick is the RINO Establishment’s candidate. Thus, he is a known enemy.

There is a reason we are sitting here after they both spent more individually on a primary than than both parties spent combined in the last senate general election and are not sitting around 30% and 1000 or so votes apart they both are horrible candidates and dogs that won’t hunt.
OZ is completely the wrong brand to win in any way in PA and MCCormick is just another Wall Street bush era Republican…
Both are weak candidates, those hitching their wagons to OZ are going to be in for a rude awakening if he does wind up in office, which I highly doubt will happen.

OZ gets the Philly votes but pretty much loses everywhere else. He won’t sell in the T and sure as hell won’t drive major turn out and support. Not even among Trump supporters. The guy was booed when introduced at a Trump rally. Those pushing him are either reading an insanely old playbook or are completely ignorant of PA and it’s inner workings.
MCCormick I am no fan of either, but like it or not he actually does way better I. The T than OZ ever would… no I don’t think he’s going to get great excitement but at least he wins where a Republican in PA has no chance if they don’t.
My honest opinion they both stink, and neither one is likely to beat Fetterman this fall. Only way I see either winning is if the D brand is damaged so bad the candidates just don’t matter and a ham sandwich will win as long as it has a R.
However with all that said, OZ is not MAGA. Hell he’s not even conservative and he is utterly off brand for PA statewide politics in 2022… hell, ever honestly. His “celebrity” gets him low info voters in Philly suburbs but gets him nothing anywhere else… he is utterly inauthentic and has supported things that are non starters with T voters. “Guns are a health care issue”… that statement alone means he will underperform in the T, let alone the trans kids and other things this guy has said and done.
You think he is going to show up in blue collar working class central PA with his Rolex and Gucci’s and perfectly styled hair and going to sell there?!? You are nuts.. especially when Fetterman is standing next to him?
If you want the recipe to lose in PA, OZ is it. The folks think I have to kill it in Philly and the. The rest of the state will show up like they always do… telling you right now, the rest of the state won’t for OZ…
McCormic being more traditional candidate will do better in the T than oZ would, but isn’t going to turn out thr Trump disenfranchised voters either.. and will likely do worse in the Philly suburbs than OZ would because he won’t have the low information suburban woman who “like” oZ because he was on TV.
For the GOP to win with either of them means that the race has to be nationalized and that the election is truly nothing but a repudiation of Biden and the Dems. And If that’s what it is, won’t matter who the candidates are. If that’s not what November is, then don’t be remotely surprised if the Dems take this seat.

If you can’t sign your ballot correctly to meet legal requirements of testimony of your signature, then the ballot is a fraud, as the law states.
When a quo warranto is used to challenge an candidate’s ‘win’, the court will look at the state law as it is written and compare to the law ‘as allowed by PA voting officials’. If they are not the same, then the election was UNLAWFUL, and cannot be a basis for defense against the quo warranto (by what authority?).
