Gout can a direct result of diet.
I kept getting flareups.... was prescribed
Colcrys to mitigate it. Was advised to modifiy my diet so I dropped pork, red meat and a few other things for the most part out of my diet and haven’t had an attack in years.
Alcohol can be a large contributor also.
The last two times I had gout flare ups I had eaten BBQ brisket and had red wine.
