said, "My Nat has told me to back off the zinc and C unless traveling or feeling a cold coming on."

I can understand why with zinc which disrupts the effects of niacin and absorption of other metals.
Though I don't understand vit C? Why? PH imbalance?

Covid slide:

Since so many misunderstood my comment about aspirin and thought I was recommending taking it daily when I wasn't, here is where I got my information.

When Delta was going around, it attacked the lungs and caused blood clots in the lungs. I know two people personally that ended up in the hospital with clots in their lungs. I know that one was given blood thinners and his doctor told him that if more people would take aspirin when they had covid, unless aspirin is dangerous for them, fewer would have the clots and end up in the hospital.

When I advised my daughter to take an aspirin while she had covid, I did not mean to go on a daily aspirin regimen. I know that is not recommended for the majority of healthy people of any age. One has absolutely nothing to do with the other.

Since aspirin was recommended for Delta, it should help with any covid related clot situation, IMO. Here is where I got some of my information and it's from two places most people in here trust, Zelenko and Frontline Doctors.

She called me back last night and said she didn't take the aspirin mostly because she was taking an anti-inflammatory for a stress fracture in her foot. That made more sense. Like I said, her brain wasn't functioning like normal while she was sick.

It never occurred to me that anybody in here would misunderstand what I was saying about aspirin since most have read Zelenkos and Frontline Doctors treatment protocols. I have made sure to have most of the items they have listed. I didn't think it needed to be explained.

I was taking 4,000 mg a day of C, so he said I could back off it. (Understand, I am taking literally hundreds of $$$ of supplements a month, so we are looking for places I can cut back after overhauling my nutrition.) Plus, I’m also getting small amounts through other supplements. I’ve also stopped taking magnesium and calcium. He said they don’t recommend calcium, since we are able to process what we need from food if we are balanced in other nutrients/supplementation and excess just winds up in the soft tissues causing other problems. And magnesium only if seeing issues with sleep or muscle cramping. I’m also stopping selenium, which he had recommended after lab testing for micronutrients and has now balanced out.
