The best J. Geils song, I know some will say "Angel is a Centerfold".

Still classic beginning of the video music era.

Did not know J. Geils died in 2017, RIP.

One thing that was funny about that video was, the bride and groom, were wearing gas masks.

I could see AOC and her ginger boy fiancee, saying their vows with masks on.

Thier older stuff, around the "Bloodshot" era, are by far their best (and less commercialized).

Always had a J Geils record on the stack at parties.

I like to play “No anchovies, please “ for the younger crowd on occasion. You can see by their facial expressions that they get drawn into the story.

They were even better live. If you hear their music live, the studio albums seem dead.

After J. Geils split from the band, they cut an exclusive European-only album, “You’re Gettin’ Even While I’m Gettin’ Odd”, whose title track is one of their more experimental songs. Lyrics are nothing special, but the instrumentals are impressive.

Saw J. Geils Band in 1973 at The Spectrum in Philly. It was a Dance Concert so I got about 25 or 30 feet from the stage. Magic Dick on mouth harp and J.Geils playing his Flying V. Great times!

I keep forgetting that they’re not a one-hit wonder. Agree this is the better song.
