Putin's top security officials believe 'the war is lost' and a coup is a realistic possibility, Russia analyst says

Vladimir Putin's top security officials understand that the war in Ukraine is 'lost' and a coup is now a realistic possibility, a Russian analyst has predicted.

Christo Grozev, a Russia expert, believes GRU and FSB elites are the most likely to try and topple Putin, because they know the truth of what is happening on the ground.

And those elites are already looking for ways to move their money and families out of the country in anticipation of Putin falling, Grozev claims.

-snip-

Grozev also said that defence ministry flights to a supposed command and control bunker near Ufa - 725 miles east of Moscow - have reduced since earlier in the war.

'Those flights for the elite, which we recorded a month ago, are now not so intense,' he said.

Grozev said that senior figures in the FSB - Russia's main internal security agency - and in the GRU military intelligence directorate - are preparing for life after Putin.

The 'intellectual part of the GRU', those with 'complete information' understand the mire Putin is in, he said.

'And also the FSB elite, which knows the specific number of victims among the Russian troops, and understands that the mothers, wives, sisters of the dead or missing Russian soldiers do not stop asking questions.

'They know that this situation will eventually get out of hand.

'These are those parts of the security forces who know the dangers for the regime, and they themselves are now preparing their future.

'Some of them are looking for an opportunity to take their families out of Russia, all are looking for ways to transfer the accumulated money (corruption money in many cases) into dollars and euros.

You may well be right. But what then does that say about the Russian army fighting them? There is a non-sequitur here.

Let’s hope that someone in the USSR has some sense and does away with Emperor Caligula.

“The fact is, the Ukrainian army that existed before February 24th, 2022, no longer exists. Outside of those reduced units still pinned down in the Donbass, it’s mostly barely-trained militia, untrained draftees, and members of the (formerly) inactive reserve, with a thin superstructure of cadre.”

How do you explain these apparent incompetents driving back the invincible Soviet Red Army?

It’s an Anal-yst, not a real analyst.

[Even though this is just one analyst’s speculation, I don’t think it’s too far-fetched. Russian tyrants can get away with an awful lot, but they cannot usually get away with failure and embarassing the whole nation. Russia has a tendency to “deal with” those kinds of tyrants quickly and quietly.]

I don’t think it’s so much the perception of failure and embarrassment vis-a-vis Putin as the perception of opportunity by ambitious men who are always looking for the best odds possible for success, given that failed coup attempts generally have dire consequences for the plotters. Heck, even a successful assassination can have negative outcomes for the perpetrators, as happened to Beria, who was killed after poisoning Stalin, despite the fact that the Beria’s initiative probably saved the other Politburo members from being killed by Stalin in one of his routine preemptive house-cleanings of powerful inner circle figures who *might* move against him.

If you haven't worked out by now that the MSM marches in lockstep, well, there's nothing more I can say.

Explain how he can, in his predictions, know that top Putin officials understand that Putin needs to be deposed? 🤣🤣🤣

Because he’s a “Russia expert,” just like the Daily Mail says. 😄😂🤣

PUtin is the equivalent of a Mafia thug in control of a country. Those who surround him in power are of the same ilk. Historically, Mafia underlings have not hesitated to knock off their boss when justifiable, and opportunity arises. I’m sure it would surprise no one, if he ended up dead.

🤣 Why do so many tards here put up with the same liberal claptrap of “Expert” says this”... “Anonymous sources say that” “TV general says this,” “TV says it knows what Putin is thinking,” etc?

It’s really sad.

And you can point out and shows dozens of examples (as I have) where their claims have often been debunked from the start of the war until now, and yet they keep turning to western media instead of going to Brazilian, Indian, Australian, nationalist/populist sources on YT, Twitter, etc, to get facts.

They like liberal MSM.

Losing meaning what? Russia only controls Donbass and only ends up with a land bridge from Mariupol to Crimea?

If you think the areas under Russian control will ever be anything but part of Russia in any of our lifetimes, you're delusional idiot.

Because that isn't happening. That is fiction being fed to you by the Biden regime and Ukrainians>

And, Russia isn't communist or Soviet. The Ukrainian government is what much more closely resembles the old Soviet Union. And, it openly uses neo-Nazis as its frontline fighter.

I point it out too. There are always “unnamed officials” or “experts” making these sensational claims.

Some of the deep-state-bootlickers on here get really ticked off when we do that. 😁😂🤣

...die in his sleep - probably with a pillow over his face.

If that's gonna happen then they're gonna have to import some Democrats to do it. They have plenty of experience......Antonin Scalia, for one...

But what then does that say about the Russian army fighting them?

That is it is winning big, crushing the Ukrainian army and the neo-Nazi Azov regiment.

That you believe otherwise is because you're believing the propaganda being fed to you by the Biden regime.

I don't get it -- you and others KNOW the Biden regime lies about everything else but believe you're getting honest information about the war. It's crazy.

I believe that Eastern Ukraine (which really isn’t Ukraine at all) would be receptive to Russian rule.

I believe that Russia invested a lot more people and materials into this adventure with no back up plan or exit strategy.

I believe that the HOLDING of the territory, even if Putin ‘wins’, will be very tricky, even with a shared border.
