Once you fully believe that the shit will hit the fan at some point, if you live in a city or even a blue area, it's time to move. I moved to rural flyover country 10 years ago.
I used to store a lot of beans and rice and other items like salt and sugar, canned goods etc. When we moved from the East coast to rural MO, we brought hundreds of pounds of food. Things have gotten thinned down but it's time to bulk them up again. I did a little stocking up on the last grocery trip and will be doing so on every trip for a while.
How many nations have recently announced protectionist moves when it comes to foodstuff? Gotta be a dozen including India and China. There's a lot of things lining up that made those nations do that. Ukraine/Russia due to that situation.

Meanwhile a bunch of Christians are running around with normalcy bias and overly-concerned with the cares of this life. The latter includes me, as my job has virtually consumed me over the last year.

I worked an extra hour and a half, left work at 5:40 a m. (By the time I got to the car) and wasn’t even close to finishing, despite an extra 1.5 hours of work.
And canned food, pasta, noodles, flour, yeast.
