I get “That username is already taken”. Even if I type something more valid (which of course I tried first, a couple dozen times, and no, they weren’t all “common” names): same thing.
Truth Social Glitch-A-Thon continues.
I already had jumped through the various hoops about having to enter a phone #, verifying my email, getting the 6-digit text code to continue, and got through that without any issues.
I can’t get in either. I was registered many moons ago, but now I try putting in my user name, or my email, can’t get in. Can’t reset password either. I’m giving up.
I don’t remember being able to post on Drudge.

I would have thought that if Truth were only a platform for him to get his message across. But it's also his investment. He needs Truth to make money. To him people joining Truth is more about the success of his business than knowing that people support him.
No, people rushed to post things from Drudge here, on FR.
I got on Truth Social just to support President Trump, but I must say is weird and random - not my cup of tea.
Full disclosure, I was never on Twitter, so I don’t have any point of reference.
Here’s what I’ve experienced, in a nut shell…
I log in.
I click on Donald Trump, who is the only person I’m following.
I look at his recent truths or re-truths.
If he’s saying something I like, which is almost always, I’ll hit the heart icon.
Here’s where my Truth experience it starts to go down hill:
I read a few comments - and although there are some positive ones, there are also a lot of negative - even vile comments. Trolls, I assume.
Then there starts to be these back and forth flame wars.
And here’s the thing. Unlike FR, where a lot of the names are familiar - these people seem so random. I quickly get bored or turned off..
I don’t think I’ve lasted more than a few minutes on Truth social before moving on to something else.
Perhaps it is the same on Twitter and I just set my expectations too high for Truth Social. It just doesn’t feel like a community.
What does everyone else think?

Notice that unlike Twitter you can’t even view Truth’s homepage without signing up. He wants first and foremost people signing up which is the single most important thing to his business.
