This whole conversation stems from JonPreston saying he was for peace, to which I replied that there would be immediate peace if Russia withdrew all its forces from Ukraine.
A pretty direct and basic way to peace. Peace without conditions. THEN, you can talk about what your gripes are.
That is the simplest way. Which was my whole point.
But, JonPreston does not agree with that kind of peace; he wants a peace that is beneficial to Russia.
In the real world, criminals are not allowed to keep their ill gotten gains and also must pay an additional penalty.
