Russia could strike back at the West by calling on its network of white-supremacist groups to commit terror attacks there, analysts warn

A former US intelligence official warned of a likely bid by Russia to stir "political violence."

Two Russian groups currently fighting in Ukraine have ties to far-right groups in the US and Western Europe.

"They've done that before in much of Europe and I would not be surprised if they are doing that today — trying to get their intelligence services at the right moment to get these groups agitated," Chris Chivvis, who served as the National Security Council's intelligence officer for Europe from 2018 to 2021, told Insider.

I live in the real world.

This whole conversation stems from JonPreston saying he was for peace, to which I replied that there would be immediate peace if Russia withdrew all its forces from Ukraine.

That isn't the real world way to a cease fire, no matter how many times you hold your breath and wish for it. Peace will come when people of good will, and a real world grasp of foreign policy come together. Old, semi-senile Biden Republicans need not apply

“Not one condition in your post, just the ranting of an angry, old man.”

Nice try, Sparky. I clearly pointed out the conditions you applied: Biden and Zelensky and Putin agree to talks BEFORE Russian withdrawal. Those are the conditions that YOU placed on beginning a peace. My initial premise contained no conditions.

“Blood dancers, on the other hand, obfuscate and ultimately celebrate death.”

You just described yourself to a T.

Of course. Historically, it's the way to peace once war has begun. I asked if you had examples of achieving peace differently, and you went mum. You remain mum to that point.

“Old, semi-senile Biden Republicans need not apply.”

Well, I know you’re not talking about me.

You still have not committed to a simple AGREE or DISAGREE reply to my basic premise: The surest way to peace would be for Russia to immediately withdraw its forces from Ukraine.

If you cannot agree to that then you are calling for continued bloodshed. Don’t you see that? An immediate withdrawal means the cessation of combat, and no reason for Ukraine to keep up the fight.

Historically? You’ve clearly never heard of unconditional capitulation. There are no “peace talks” or negotiations. But there is “peace.” So, history is full of unconditional surrenders or capitulations, and the “peace” that followed.

Well, I know you’re not talking about me.

I actually am. You've been front and center about your advanced age, and the fact you can no longer touch your toes, yet here you are pretending you're a military expert for the MIC.

Historically, peace is achieved in a step wise fashion, what you describe is retreat from territory Russia was invited into to defend by Russian citizens.

Please, try harder and pray for peace!

Yes, Russia has torn a page from the Democrat playbook!
Buffalo may be the quintessential Democrat operation!

“You’ve been front and center about your advanced age...”

I don’t think I’m at an “advanced age,” though I do mention I’m in my 70s for context.

“...and the fact you can no longer touch your toes...”

When did I ever say that?

“...yet here you are pretending you’re a military expert for the MIC.”

Your conclusion, not mine.

“Historically, peace is achieved in a step wise fashion, what you describe is retreat from territory Russia was invited into to defend by Russian citizens.”

By RUSSIAN citizens! Russian citizens have no standing in asking a foreign force to invade a country in which they are not even citizens!

And, yes! I want Russia to retreat and go back home. I want Russia to cease this aggressive invasion of a smaller and weaker sovereign nation that posed no threat to Russia. Russia started this, and it can end it by leaving.

Hell, if China invaded Russia on the same flimsy pretext I’d be opposed to China and all for sending Russia supplies!

So, who is the “blood/dancer” (whatever the hell that is)?

LOL! We've learned it doesn't matter much what you think.

I want Russia to retreat and go back home. I want Russia to cease this

I do too. We've already discussed how this can be achieved but your president is a potato, and it doesn't help that people like you support him.

So, who is the “blood/dancer”

You are.

Well, we know you’re not an American; the Jamaican flag on your profile page suggested that. But you just confirmed it.

I have utter contempt for Joe Biden, but he was sworn in as president of the United States, so as long as he is legally recognized as the president of the US — as much as I oppose him and detest him and his administration — and I am a citizen of the US (which I am), he is my president. That does not mean I support him. If you disagree with that, then you disagree with Rush Limbaugh and millions of other Americans who despised both Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, but recognized that both had been legally sworn in as president of the US, and therefore were their president. That did not mean they supported them. That’s called reality, something with which you are unfamiliar.

Go pleasure yourself before your portrait of Putin.

Joe Biden...he is my president

Spoken like a Biden Republican

Your peculiar sexual comments might fly with your wife or children, but I find them troubling. Please stop.

“Spoken like a Biden Republican.”

No, spoken like an American.

By your logic, Rush Limbaugh was a Clinton Republican. He was also an Obama Republican.

I see; only presidents of whom you personally approve are your presidents. Thus, during those periods where there is no such approved president, you have no national leadership who can act either in your interest or against your interest, because...well, the office is empty.
