Roe v Wade was horrific for the nation.
It made legislation from the bench a reality. That led to the Supreme Court becoming about politics and not Constitution. That trickled through every court in the nation.
Suddenly, we are more divided after Roe. We are more lawless. Certainly the Constitution is largely ignored. Abortion by Federal Government decree, like same sex marriage, was forced upon an unwilling citizenship.
Power to the people, let the States decide.
