Married...With Children appears on its way to receiving an animated revival more than 25 years after it originally went off the air, Deadline reported.
The show, which follows a suburban family always at one another's throats, will see all four members of the Bundy family return.
This includes Ed O’Neill as Al Bundy, Katey Sagal as Peggy Bundy, Christina Applegate as Kelly Bundy and David Faustino as Bud Bundy.
Family Guy executive producer Alex Carter wrote the revival and will serve as showrunner.
The outlet reported that Fox, Hulu and Peacock are considered 'logical destinations' for the animated show.
It's unclear where exactly the animated show will pick up and what the characters will be doing in the series.
Married...With Children's finale wasn't a true finale as the show was canceled after its eleventh season.
It originally aired from 1987 to 1997 for 11 seasons and 259 episodes and helped launch the career of Christine Applegate who has gone on to mainstream success in movies like Anchorman and Bad Moms as well as the critically-acclaimed drama-comedy Dead to Me.
There have been a number of attempts at a Married...With Children spin-off series over the years including one that gained serious traction not too long ago.
Faustino reportedly pitched an idea for a spin-off about six years ago that would've followed his character Bud who has to move back into his old house with his ex-wife and his best friend after Al and Peggy win the lottery and move to Las Vegas.
The show was going to be titled Bud and had the blessing of Married...With Children's creator Michael G. Moye.
Because of their schedules, other actors wouldn't have been able to commit to that spin-off, but Deadline reports the
