There is an obvious health advantage for breast feeding, but it’s not possible in all cases for a variety of reasons. For example: some babies are allergic, some mothers have can’t do it, or the mother may have a health condition that makes it unadvisable. (Or have to take a medication that make sit unadvisable.)

So, perhaps ration the ‘formula’ to those who cannot breastfeed? How about importing ‘formula’ from PRC (Politically Repressive Canada, that is)?

Short term solutions until the FDA FINALLY clears production again at the locked down plant.

If a baby is allergic to its mothers milk, it’s not going to do well with other milks either.

Any claim that the baby is allergic to mother’s milk is most likely that the baby is allergic to something the mother is eating, and not the milk itself.

Putting a baby on formula simply because a baby MIGHT possibly be allergic to mom’s milk is foolhardy. Women should try breastfeeding first before presuming the worst from the get go.
