Goat milk contains virtually no lactose nearly every human on earth can drink it. This is the key reason why it’s used in Africa and Latin America since those populations don’t carry the lactose gene to drink cows milk into adulthood like us Western Europe bloods. That said every child that does not have a actual casein allergy can drink goat milk. If the child has a casein allergy then all milk including human milk is off limits less than 1% of humans have a casein allergy so it’s not all that preleveant.

Before big formula convinced every parent that cows milk was bad for your kid we all drank warm cows milk from week two onwards the first two weeks were breast milk only then a mix of cow and breast till 8 weeks then blended food pureed in a blender and cows milk till teeth came in. Myself and three siblings never had a drop of formula. We were healthy well feed babies I have seen pictures chubby bunnies we were so hardly under fed.
