You seem obsessed with hurricanes. You might want to know that Florida sees a few small storms from time to time but the big ones are 45 years apart on average for any given location.

Since your screen name if V-TWIN I can only assume that is for a a motorcycle. I ride, and find Florida has many more days of great riding weather than Colorado ever has. Colorado is often far too cold for good riding.

I’ve lived here since 1969, that’s 85% of my life and I’ve seen plenty of storms. It doesn’t have to be a hurricane....tropical storms and depressions are enough, and can spin off tornadoes with little warning.

Have ever experienced 90+ mph sustained winds? If not I can assure you it’s an overrated experience.

Having made a living in aviation maintenence for almost 40 years the golden rule was never leave any loose ends or anything incomplete. Check recheck and check it again to the point of being OCD.......after so many years I guess it’s permanently ingrained. I just like to be prepared.

Drives my wife crazy sometimes. Lol
