Me too. I'm reminded of a line from "Jurassic Park" where the character Ian Malcolm says "Yeah, yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn't stop to think if they should."
I've read Michael Crichton's "Prey" and watched the Terminator series of movies up to but not including the latest woke trash. Yes these are works of fiction. However, we seem to be busy putting in place many of the technological building blocks that could lead to disastrous situations as depicted in these stories.

I look at what I see as damage from people who can’t be alone, can’t put their phones down, can’t let their kids be, have to check their FaceBook or Twitter, and on an on.
I find it disconcerting.
