I still have my shuffle in a drawer somewhere. Hook it on my sleeve and I was ready to go.
Bonus: in the spring and fall, I’d run the earbud wire down the inside of my sleeve and clip the Shuffle just by my palm and I could “Spider-Man” the thing to skip to the next song.

Buy a Samsung smartphone, put a 64GB...or 128GB...SD card in it and load it up with songs from your CD collection. It takes time but the results are great.

I had a couple iPod Touches. Broke the screen on the first so when Apple had another sale with free engraving I put on a reminder in the back to not let the iPod play with my keys.
It was a lot of fun to have an mp3 player with wifi and the ability to use Apple apps. Lighter and cheaper than a phone. There are still a couple apps on there which never got on Android that I wish would move.

Thanks for posting. I’ve been needing a new Touch (have had 3), so just bought one before they’re gone. I’m a musician and use the Touch on gigs and rehearsals. Smaller than an iPad and doesn’t tie up my phone. Love them.
