What’s remarkable about Jim Jones, in 2022, is how familiar he is, and how much his unremarkable techniques of social manipulation and personal control match our own moment.

Thanks! Great article and informative. I never knew Jones took his act on the road(to Philly; LOL)...I’d figured he left SF because too many people were on to him! Got to admit, Guyana (French/English/Dutch) was a shrewd move. Mission accomplished!
They say Russia invaded to reconstitute the USSR, as well as, stealing the oil fields in Ukraine. Russia is not the threat that the USSR was, and reconstitution of the USSR is an impossibility.
Trying to engage with these people on that topic, does absolutely no good, because like a cult they are true believers as to the cause and the escalation.
They honestly believe they are giving assistance to the Ukrainian people and helping them secure their sovereignty along with the integrity of their borders. They ignore that the integrity of Ukraine's borders has never been a reality for centuries.
What makes it so unbelievable, at least to me at any rate, is that these people actually believe in what they are saying, while they watch these same people in power who are leading this assistance are the very same people who are ignoring the massive invasion along our southern border.
They impress me as those very same believers in Jim Jones, Covid, masks, or the vaccines. True believers who are convinced they are not only correct but moral also.
The same people who are selling this nation out to the real possibility of the One World Government philosophy.
These are people who I thought were awakening to the scam being perpetrated upon the citizens of this country, but apparently that is not the case.
Times change.

It was always like the flu. To make it worse the democrats blocked known inexpensive cures in favor of vaccines that are expensive and make them billions in bribe money.
Bill Gates said that COVID is just like the flu, hurts the elderly more, and that the vaccines are imperfect.
Gates explained, “We didn’t understand that it’s a fairly low fatality rate & that it’s a disease mainly in the elderly, kind of like flu is, although a bit different than that.”
Regarding the vaccines, Gates said, “once Omicron comes along, the vaccine is not reducing transmission, hardly at all, particularly about three or four months after you take the vaccine.”
