As Aunt Lydia said (in your book) it's their fault they got pregnant. Don't want a baby? Don't have sex!
I betcha she was peachy keen about forcing the shot on women, though.
Give them a penny and tell them to hold it between their knees if they don’t want to get pregnant. It works every time. Especially for female feminazi authors.
Oh and Atwood when Roe is over turned? To quote Aunt Lydia again...
“’Ordinary,’ said Aunt Lydia, ‘is what you are used to. This may not seem ordinary to you now, but after a time it will. It will become ordinary’”
Well, if they don’t want to risk the consequences of a pregnancy, they could keep it zipped. At least that’s what they tell men.
Only women get a right to a sex life, AND escape hatch. Men don’t.
Use a darn condom pinhead.
You can even get it for free.
“wondering why Washington might force women to have babies, “
What idiocy. “Washington” isn’t forcing anyone to do anything. “Washington” is (apparently) heading in the direction of enforcing the Constitution of the United States as written and returning this issue to the states where it belongs.
They hate the one unique thing about themselves.
When did women ever have the right to murder unborn babies?
Actually they still can, they just want to hire someone to do it for them?
When did they ever have the right to demand someone else murder the unborn baby they don’t want?
I saw someone dressed in red with a white thing on their head when I was driving earlier today.
I may or may not disagree, but I applaud their peaceful exercise of expression
Women have so many birth control options more than ever before, plus the morning after pill. You’d think after hearing how responsible and smart women are, and how on top of it all women are, they’d never have an unplanned pregnancy.
If forcing the men to pay child support for 18 years likewise SLAVERY, Ms. Atwood?
Regards,
Hardly. Birthing a child is the fulfilling of a contract with a man and God.
That’s right! Offing them is so much more convenient.
I’m curious, there are also a lot of children who, after they’re born, become unwanted and inconvenient - should they be aborted as well?
The whole pro-abortion position is to have the freedom to proudly act irresponsibly and not pay the consequences, even at the cost of an innocent human life.
For them it’s all about what’s convenient and expeditious.
I’m going to go watch the movie “The VelociPastor”. The prostitute in that movie makes more sense than these morons.
Leftists have to use logical fallacies, because if they argue purely on the merits - they lose.
82? She should be more concerned about how she’s going to explain her book to God.
Utter bs. There are birth control pills for both men and women.
I personally think the book and the movie (first) were far-fetched in terms of premise and believability. This more recent series is just an exercise of ascribing some sort of justification for abortion as it is today.
Woman who are smart enough to read Ms. Atwood’s books should never be in a position to need an abortion... They are smart, and because they are smart and can read, they should be aware of multitude of birth control measures and medications that can stop them from having an unwanted child.
Using abortion as a form of birth control should not be an acceptable method for birth control.
Woman who can’t read and are uneducated, due to the terrible education system that allows such a tragedy. Should be allowed one pass... But one only.
yawn, They need new material.
