We need a uniform, auditable method, with all results tabulated on election night. Purple ink on the finger, photo ID, only in-person voting (except for overseas military). I would emphasize "guaranteed honesty" over all other concerns, and I would not be distracted by the possibility that 9 people over there may have been "disenfranchised". I don't care. I want honest elections.
I think candidates should run for office on a platform of "Election Reform is my number one concern".
But how many politicians can we trust to actually follow through on such a platform, and to propose a system of rules to make it an honest process?
