TISHOMINGO, Okla. (AP) — The teenage driver of a small car that collided with a large truck in Oklahoma, killing all six occupants in the car, tested negative for alcohol but positive for cannabis after her death, according to a preliminary report released Thursday.

hmm
pot makes you drive 10 mph under the speed limit
Survival guilt
Well whatever else can be said she wasn’t fit to drive
Legally obtained cannabis?
Oklahoma may be a solid red state but don’t let that fool you. Marijuana is extremely popular. Medical cards are easy to get, even for minors, and dispensaries are all over the place.
Lol.. honestly, I can’t even remember what happened after.. I was dropping off teammates after football practice .. hmm.. should I remember actually dropping them off?
I want to drop the drinking age to 18 so college students can learn to drink responsibly, and have a less troublesome legal alternative to pot.
Someone failed to explain that the Cheech and Ching movies were not real life.
My worst was four big HS dudes in a Gremlin with a full size trash can in middle of back seat filled to brim with ice and beers ready to venture out on Senior Skip Day back in ‘75!
And we survived, minus some brain cells.
STUPID teenagers - things don’t change only the dates!
The second group you mention is my reason for not being onboard with recreational legalization. When they have toked themselves into befuddled unemployability, their behavior will be classified as a disease (as is done with alcoholics) and we will end up footing the bill from our tax money.
Since marijuana stays in your system for approximately a month isn’t it possible that they had consumed weeks ago?
This doesn’t seem like clear cut DWI unless they found pot in the car.
At least the parents can take comfort in the fact that they were environmentally sensitive.
When I started working at sixteen, I needed a car and my dad bought a new car and gave me his 1968 Olds 88. Who knows how many people I could have stuffed into that.
"1968 Olds 88"
I would think since marijuana can stay in one's system for 30 days that this crash was more than likely caused by the driver being a woman than marijuana.
I didn’t have the car...but was in the pile!!! Many times.
Glad we didn’t have cell phones back then.
And how many times have teenagers killed people without weed in their system? Ban teens from driving.
The point being that no one can determine WHEN it was smoked.
"Glad we didn’t have cell phones back then."
