He was a star of the original Wonder Years, yes. He had some popular kids movies in the 80s and 90s as well, but he became very quiet. I suspect he was one of those child stars whose parents actually took some level of responsibility for his life before he was old enough to handle it or understand.

I have been watching the reboot and its pretty good. Really neat link to the original involving Winnie’s brother who died in Nam and the elders brother in this series.

Fred’s brother Ben was also a child star of Boy Meets World, and a reboot of sorts the recent Girl Meets World. Both are featured on a current TV commercial for Goldfish crackers.

Fred and Jason Harvey were accused of sexual harassment at the end of the Wonder Years run by a crew member. Alley Mills whom played the mother of these two on the show claimed years later the allegations were a pile of scrap.
