I’d only be for a draft if it was part of a new masculine military of a new red republic, and ONLY if it was part of the new Constitution to enshrine it.
The other option is no voting rights unless you volunteer for it and complete service (no draft) like in Heinlein’s Starship Troopers.
Anything else is silly. WEF would love to have you fighting wars for them with this draft.

Quit trying to push this woke BS on our soldiers. For this reason alone, I do not recommend service to any of my children. I am not alone.
On the other hand, if leftists keep pushing war, they’re gonna get a draft, and fodder for their profiteering.
Only two answers to this question. A) Bring back the draft for both men and woman (I guess that’s out of date—all Citizens). or 2) hire Mercenaries 3rd world men and woman who can get citizenship with service. Or maybe an American Legion for foreign fighters?
Do Zelensky’s brave soldiers have sensitivity training programs? Like our people have? Has Zelenskyy drummed out Ukrainian patriots? Like we did.
How do Zelensky’s soldiers treat the trans in their ranks? Is it even an issue? Can Ukrainian soldiers be taught to “out” and snitch on the disrespectful in their ranks to the WOKE? Do Ukranian soldiers need sensitivity sessions with their fellow soldiers in safe spots so they can emote about their feeling?
And if not, why not? Surely Austin and Milley can ‘teach’ the Ukrainian army to be as great as the US army... Right?

The goal after the ‘drafting women’ thing is turned down is to lower standards and accept criminals and illegals as soldiers... Kind of a thug/mercenary army that can also be used against American citizens.

My son was in the Army under GWB. In unforgettable war zones. He and the buddies he served with would not enlist today, no matter what they’d pay. The new military is a scary place. Not one of them holds racist views or ideas, nor believes America is only for white people. His buddies are from up north, down south and even- gasp- California. They’re asian, black, white and some were poor, some rich, some middle-class. They’ve never lost touch with each other, gone to weddings, funerals and reunions. They’re just American men- a mix of everything. They’re the BEST!
Thanks for the story about your son. My nephew served in the Marine Corps for five years and had the same experience. It is a common experience. The military, for obvious reasons, is the ultimate melting pot.
For the top brass to say the military is racist and full of white extremists is just criminal and anti-American. And is going to cause us to lose a lot of wars.
No doubt. I know that I sure wouldn’t counsel any young man, or woman like my three grand daughters to join the US military in this time of wanton war-mongering for WWIII over a country we barely knew existed before Democrats plunged this country into total chaos with their victim pandering. We need to be more concerned about the foreign invasion on our Souther Border.
I know several vets who have dissuaded their sons from going into the military when previously that would be an option.
