It's a 30 minute video, and maybe Fauci saw it in his late teens or later in med school.

I watched the first 7 minutes and there was no panic mongering, no lockdowns, no face masks, etc.

It was interesting though the Surgeon General stated that 850,000 people died in America from the 1918 pandemic.

I have always heard it was 500,000.

I remember that flu well. The only flu that made me seriously ill. It was a hybrid, a bird flu, the ones that are the most dangerous to people with a strong immune system.

1957-1958 Pandemic (H2N2 virus)

“In February 1957, a new influenza A (H2N2) virus emerged in East Asia, triggering a pandemic (“Asian Flu”). This H2N2 virus was comprised of three different genes from an H2N2 virus that originated from an avian influenza A virus, including the H2 hemagglutinin and the N2 neuraminidase genes. It was first reported in Singapore in February 1957, Hong Kong in April 1957, and in coastal cities in the United States in summer 1957. The estimated number of deaths was 1.1 million worldwide and 116,000 in the United States.”

The Hong Kong flu in 1968-69 was also bad (I remember being very ill at age 6). Yet nobody wore masks, the media basically ignored it, we had Woodstock and landed on the Moon.

I was a senior in high school and don’t recall the flu going around that year at all.

Woodstock and the Moon landing were both in August of course, well past the flu season in North America. Our flu season peaks from December to February and is gone by May.

The worst flu I ever had, was when I was in my early 20's.

I was on the toilet and puked and sh!t diahrrea at the same time. It was over in about 48 hours.

I also remember the H2N2 Flu. It deciminated the effectiveness of Malstrom AFB.
Most of the infected personnel were sent to barracks because we didn’t have enough beds in the hospital.
I personally inoculated over 1,000 AF personnel during that time period.

Woodstock occurred during the middle of the Hong Kong flu. No one was masked or social distanced.
