The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation announced its 2022 Inductees Wednesday.

This is the first time in the Hall’s 37-year history that six female acts will be inducted in one class, KTLA sister station WJW reports. The top five artists who dominated the fan vote all made it in this year.

She declined the nomination but it looks like they paid about as much attention to her wishes as the government does to ours.

I think Alex Lifeson said it all when Rush was inducted...

“Blah blah blah...blah blah....blah blah blah.....”

True, but I can’ t go along with that thing. Pretend because others like the idea isn’t me.

Her first hit -- the very weird but incredible Wuthering Heights. Wrote it hersself at 18, first song written and performed by a British female to hit No 1 on their charts. For those who don't know, she's playing the part of a ghost come back to haunt her lover.

Completely unique, which is what makes her so special.

Pat Benatar covered that song and rocked it up.

I love Kate Bush’s ‘Wuthering Heights.’

Wasn’t she the backing vocal on ‘Don’t Give Up’ from ‘So?’

Her and Gabriel should have formed a duet group...

You should reread the original post. I said I’ve lost a lot of respect for rock and roll bands in the past 25 years. I qualified that statement with my realizing they’re communist sympathizers. In my earlier years they were just entertaining and I didn’t know or care about their political leanings. I learned to care, because I learned it’s important to care.

There is a private terminal at TPA, Sheltair I think.

The terminal looks like Dolly Parton’s tits.

Thanks, newfreep - that was sweet, just not the same without Kate on the Fairlight piano, pretty damned good, though.

Also loved "Sat in your lap" and "Experiment IV".

Damn - she had so much great music, and she was so different, but maybe it's better she doesn't get soiled by the commerciality of "The Hall of Fame"

The RRHoF is a joke and is run by morons. Eminem is not rock and roll, and neither is Dolly Parton and Lionel Ritchie. Who are they going to say is a rocker next? Ariana Grande? Britney Spears? Justin Timberlake? Lawrence Welk? Bieber?

It is more appropriately named the Pop Music Hall of Fame.

Apart from me, you must be the only other Kate Bush fan on here. I tend to ignore lyrics completely and focus on melody. What stood out is the number of earworms among her repertoire - really excellent tunes that stand up to repeated listening. Her voice is, of course, an outstanding musical instrument on it own.

Clearly the definition of “rock and roll” has either widened, deteriorated, or both.

Absolutely. Only Pat Benatar belongs in this grouping.

Dolly Parton is country. Eminem is rap. Lionel Ritchie and Carly Simon are pop.

Only Pat Benatar rocks in this group.

I vehemently disagree. The guy is a POS, and rap is not music.
