If you’re stuck in a chair it would be hard to put together the quilt sandwich — the absolute worst part of quilting.
I know people who send the top, batting, and backing separately to a machine quilter who assembles the three and bastes the quilt. It’s nice and taut. Then you can hand quilt in a hoop on your lap, or machine quilt.
I am tempted to try that, but it’s not cheap. (I am cheap - LOL!)
Do you have ‘good’ days? Maybe good days could be your motivator to work on a little something on those days? :)
